Anyone Ever Extend A Frame????

biggest issue jumping it is getting it in the air, long soft travel absorbs whatever you hit, so to really fly you have to nail something incredibly hard. the blue bike is designed for more all around riding, the red one has one mission, going straight thru whoops topped out in 6th gear

is that a stock swing arm on there?

would i be better off lengthening the front and leaving the rear alone?

or should i still look into the extended one like the TRI Z one.

how did you adjust the steering stem? is it just angled alot or did you modify
that alot also?

rear shock is an 88 250r revalved, the fronts are works tripple rates with 250r rear rezzies and Doug Roll valving. steering shaft is an 86-87 250 r, it leans back a bit b ut the upper mount is still 6" further foreward. swing arm is cromoly with my shock geometry

as fro stretching yours, what are you trying to achieve?? what is the bike doing that you dont want it to?? what is it not doing that you wish it would???

i would like it to be more comfortable across the sand and whoops maybe i

some more control in the trails and with this done i imagine jumping it some would be alot better landing, lol.

i feel to big on it like i'm sitting over top of it all the time.

on my freinds other bikes 300ex ,yfz, raptor 350 you feel you sit a littl bit farther back and it seems like more control.

the front suspension seems farther up so you not on top of it.

honestly right now also my mind keeps trying to get over that big wreck lst year and i'm almost scared to rip on it.

i'm always in the back but i know i can own alot of the trails.

having that extra foot of bike out there definitly makes you a lot more secure at speed. I had a stock chassied blaster that handled incredible, but you always had a sense of impending doom going fast. sometime in the next couple days I will set you up with a fairly easy way to extend the stock frame. if you have decent fab abilities its fairly simple to extend if you don't mess with the rake.

RIGHT ON THAT WOULD BE AWSOME.

i'm decent on the fab work but my welding isnt the best,, that's where my cousin comes in,, welder by trade..

i used to fabing turbo kits and piping.

ANOTHER QUESTION:

IF YOU HAD THE OPTION WOULD YOU

A. RUN THE BLASTER MOTOR THAT NOT 240'D JUST BASIC BORING.

B. WHOLE MODIFYING THE FRAME MAKE IT FIT A TRI-Z MOTOR

C. MAYBE POSSIBLE USE A VERY GOOD RUNNING 84 HONDA 250R AIRCOOLED
MOTOR??????
