anyone cut out the top a arm ball joint ?

i'm thinking about cutting out the top ball joint and welding in a new banshee ball joint so i can put my brake swap on anyone do this or attempt to ?

Um i dont know if i woudl trust a welded ball joint. there is alot to pressure on there from turning. My brother welded a part of his tie rod ends/ball joints and it didnt even last one ride.

i'm gonna weld the top part of the ball joint not the joint it self

ok then try it and see if it works. just dont sue me when it breaks and you hit a tree!
