dont know if anyone tryed maken a uni shock setup on a blaster? ive never seen one. instead of direct mount is it possible?

explain or show us this "uni set-up" ?????

are you talkin linkage ????

sorry should of been more clear yes i meen suspension uni link maybe be a better setup on stock blaster

I think he is referring to the suspension linkage like on a 400ex or on a dirt bike that makes the rear suspension progressive. I'm sure you could do it with the correct tools!! Just mimick another setup and you'll be all set. just know that it will hang down lower and effect ground clearance. You may have to modify your skid to work with it/protect that area too.

not worth the hassle IMO

the rear motor mount where the swinger bolt passes thru is directly in line with any type of dog bone i've seen, had a few 400ex/450r pass thru here and gave it a quick look

also hangs down below the swinger, which i would beat into submission quickly here in the rocks

I'll be converting mine to a linkage design here shortly. Not using a linkage off of a different bike though. Designing and machining my own.
Kind of curious where you got the "uni" terminology?

whats your plans for the front mounting of the dog bone ????
machining out an area from the motor mount ????
or custom mount off the frame ????

idk yet was just thinking it over and if anybody done it before and how it worked out but you are right might not be worth it !

looked right you was on a roll for that airbox.i maybe getting one soon myself little here little there working on it

Yeah, didnt want to mess with the motor at all. I'll post up some pics as it comes to fruition. Still in the CAD process.
