Weirdest thing was happening to my Blaster. I tore the entire bike apart last Feb. and "rebuilt" it. Note: it was running fine before doing all of this. By rebuilt I mean, I stripped it down to the frame and cleaned everything up on it pretty much. I didn't touch the engine. Anyway, I get it all back together and try to start it again. Nothing doing. No spark at all. I'm researching and run across the TORS removal so I do it. I get spark and I'm thinking everything is cool. I finish getting everything back together and try to start it again and it will only run w/ the choke on. When I take the choke off it dies. I'm thinking I have a carb issue. I rebuilt the carb tonight and restarted. Same thing. I hook the TORS back up and it's running great like it did before? I'm glad it's running but want to see if anyone can shed some light on what could be happening here? I thought the TORS was something that could easily be removed w/o making a difference on the bike's performance. Until now I was thinking about removing it permanently and replacing it w/ the aftermarket cap and cable, but I don't know now?
