I want to do all the mods i can do to my blaster that are free or very very cheap ($1-$15) What can I do?

take your airbox lid off and rejet, it will cot you a couple of bucks for new jets to get it dialed in right. it adds the most power for next to no money, you will notice some serious power gain respectively
just call local dealers, some only sell what is in the book, others just have to order them in, well in canada anyway, my local shop charges $4 a jet, its a little high but i dont have to pay shipping, of i were you i would get a 250 260 ad 270 jets, and some plugs to do plug chops to get the right one figured out, if you don't know how there is a thread stickied somewhere in here, the engine section i think..... hope this helps
basicy you run yu blasty you saw a litle bit of your plug and you will see what colour it is ! (colours tell if its lean or rich)

in a nut shell you:
warm upp your blaster with the plug that is in it
shut it off and put a new plug in
start up and go WOT all the way to high rpm's in gear 5 or 6 (different opinions, i preffer 5) pull the clutch, shut the engine off and stop, must not let it idle down before you shut it off
where gloves cause this gets hot
take that plug out, put the old one in, and ride back
using a hack saw cut a chunk out of the thread, all the way down to expose the core
if it is a light brown u are probable lean, if it is grey slash white you are really lean.
I use the coffee scale meaning you want to shoot for a colour resembling a coffee with one cream, maybe darker cause its better to run rich.

Here's a free mod that will make your blaster faster. Go on a diet and lose weight. The liter the faster. Lol. Oh,and the money you save on food will pay for more mod's.
