Another Clutch Question?

still didn't get my cable but i wanted to put my clutch cover back on but didn't want to DRAIN THE OIL and take it off again if something was wrong.... so pushed on the acutuator that the lever is ussually hooked up to and i don't know what to look for when i look at the clutch.... should the clutch plates move when i push on the lever in or out? if so is there something i did wrong or can it be adjusted?
PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!

If I am not mistaking you should see the pressure plate move out...

Did you take out the little ball when you took out the clutch?

bike was on its side so the ball wouldn't fall out didn't look to see if it was even in there just figured if i put it back the way it was it would work the same.... also with the tusk plates on the tuturorial they told me to take out a skinny thin siver plate that was in there and not to reinstall it with the aftermarketplates. I also saw on another youtube video that you can adjust it by turning the middle screw in the middle of the 5 springs but i'm not sure if this might cure the problem or make it worse

you got it man.....that screw will adjust the cltch arm in or out.....look at the little arrow on the clutch arm and line it up with the staright mark on the case

no luck tried to adjust the screw and it wouldn't budge don't wanna strip it.... gonna prob just wait and go to a local shop... how much could an adjustment be?

did you check to line up the pressure plate before putting the springs on? the splines only line up one way and if not mistaken one of those friction plates (2nd) is , or has a larger diameter (on the inside) and that is where your silver thing goes its actually a spring . you should see a little circle on the splines and one on pressure plate

i did this originally and the silver ring got crimped between the plates then i watch the video and the guy from rockymountainatv say that you have to remove that little metal ring and not put it back in with this clutch

thats it!!!!!! tried the adjustment clutch still didn't work...... Thanks for all the help it was really appreciated but i must of done something wrong.... went to my last resort the stealership, $100 just to drop the bike off so they could look at it.... who knows how long they will keep it for too. Sh*t suxx but sometimes you gotta bite the bullet.... i rather pay a lil extra and have my bike running than have it sit in my garage and me with a headache!!!!!!!
Once again thanks for all the help i'm sure i'll need more soon!
