ya i ment lever *changed lol* so i really dont have money for a new one and i dont ike driving it without one (im afraid ill damage my engine!) so theres still 3 or 40 of the loads of little wires holding it you can see where the rest snapped (in the barrel) if i drill it out and cut the 3 wires then put a little glue in the hole will it stick? thanks I:I

seriously doubt it. i have used a nut and bolt with a couple of washers to pinch the cable in a bind but it didn't work for long. you will be fine without it. just use it for taking off. you need to find out why it is shreading the cable it must be rubbing somewhere. or did you buy a used cable?

is there a lot of play in the clutch lever? my old one was wore out like a philipino hooker . too much up and down and forward and back slop . and you could see where the cable was going through a lot of abuse because of it , get a new lever and lube the cable with a good graphite lube , and lube it before you go ride , it will make a huge difference .

i can drive it fine with out it its just hard stopping lol and ill only f*ck up my gear if i dont use it lol

when is the last time you read about someone toasting their tranny by not using their clutch when shifting? I never have read one

of course the clutch is there for a reason. taking off in first you have to have it. feathering in corners and high rpm shifting. as long as you shift easy by letting off the throttle before shifting everything will be fine. don't drag race with no clutch or ram it into gear. you are telling me you use the clutc on every single shift? i only use mine about half the time.

sh*t, in draggin racing, i never use the clutch, you just need to learn when to shift. try taking off without a clutch, that is fun. a friend had to do that to load his banshee up in his ranger, it was funny watching him do it while drunk lol.

but take some pictures of your lever and where it is ripping.
