i know this topic has been covered a million times, but after a few hours of searching i have yet to find a definate yes or no answer to my question. will 400ex front shocks fit a blaster with +3+1 long travel a arms?

Well stock blaster front shocks are 14.5" long and 400ex are 16.25" long. I've seen people use yfz450 shocks on which are 15.75" long and raptor 700 shocks on which are 16" long. So you may be ok for length and I imagine the mounts would be close to the same, give it a try and tell us if it works
400EX fronts work fine on the Blasty with either +3+1 A-Arms or the Diamond J kit with Shock conversion. They are a bit longer than 450's(roughly 1/2 inch) but are softer so accommodate about the same. BUT, they will fit up.
The YFZ 450 front shock is a much better shock, try to stick with those if your gonna convert anyway, or some Shee Works go nicely as well... (slightly longer than blasty works)
