anyone else watch rhe "American Chopper Sr vs. Jr" episodes last nite ???
paul jr.'s shop tore down and built a brand new yfz for the blingstar peeps, pretty cool, but woulda like to see them do some internal motor upgrades instead of just a bunch of brightly colored powder coated sh*t, and bolt on go fast goodies, but it was still cool, and the "Odie" kid even got sponsored by blingstar in the end

big deal, a super ugly colored yfz, with high overpriced name parts lol......i was hoping to see a black widow yfz or something they actaully had to fab up on it...not just buy paint and bolt on

the best boobs money can buy lol. sometimes i think those guys don't really have any clue how to build a motor. they are always so f'n lost when the brand new motor out of the box doesn't run
 
They never do anything internally with the motors. When they ahve in the past it is always another "tuner" that does it. They only do fab work and bolt on stuff.
 
lol this therad or forum is f*cked.It wouldn't let me post,so I copied the info before I lost it.If I try to copy and paste it into the box it won't go through.WTF.
 
i went to the blingstar site and looked up yamaha , they list only the blaster and not the banshee , but a picture of a banshee pops up , and ALL the parts I looked at like bumpers etc , had the banshee mounting points . I think I'll get that Blingstar Bumper for the shee , good price for a polished bumper . I'll look great posing at the dunes!!!!
 
yea i thought it was gay as sh*t, i think the highlighter yellow and black would have looked sick but then they throw that orange in there and painted the plastics and make it UGLY

True, True. I was real excited when I saw the previews, especially when that meat head odie wiped out. It is a loud bike but still it is ugly. I like how odie thrashes it when the paint is still wet! And last but not least I would have had to whip that kids ass when Vin was asking him about calling Nubby. "I don't have his number" "Those guy's are jerks, (to Vin) Can you call them?" Reach down grab your sack and take charge! Don't be a sissy on national TV!
 
i kinda like that quad, just because it stands out and is different. but if i ever saw another one like it, it would be ugly.

on a side note, i watched that episode, but hate watching american chopper, because all they do is buy parts and paint them and put a bike together and charge a hundred thousand dollars for it. the same bike can be made in someones garage for probably around $10,000

You would be lucky to buy one of those high performance motors for under 12 grand, that sh*t aint cheap my friend.

my dad just put a rev tech motor in his harley for $3000. and i have a buddy who just built a chopper in the past few years and has less than $25000 in it with all top of the line parts. the point is, they dont really do anything. they buy parts, cut off an edge here and there, and weld a little piece on it and then paint it. hell, they dont even paint it, they have it painted. then they put it together and slap there logo's on them and sell them for the price of a home

what do you mean thrash it when the paint was still wet?you mean after he got it all assembled he went and ran it wide open and fast?



OHH and did yall see when he flipped it when it first got dropped off?
when it was still stock he decided to show boat and do some wheelies and tried to do a stoppie and flipped it ass end over top, funny
 
You might find a 88 cubic inch revtech, the bottom of the barrel motor for maybe 3500 if your damn lucky. Those guys are awsome machinests and welders as well as fab guys. Yea they slap parts together for most builds but they have the skills to do much more. Tell your dad to sell those 3 grand motors on ebay and retire.
