alot of backfireing

hey guys i gota 98 blaster with a 40 over bore ..i think..fmf fatty gold series pipe fmf power core 2 silencer and took off my air box lid...it ran fine ive had it for about 3 years and i rebuilt the top end last summer..now its back fireing alot and on the cylinder head were it meets the block is leaking a good amount of oil/gas..could that gasket be blown and causing my back fire issue? thanks

well figuring it shouldn't be leaking there, ya that isn't good.
sounds like an air leak. fix that gasket and do a leak down test.

ya i figured that would b it and maybe some fine tuning of the carb would help also but i suck at tuning lol

sounds like your head gasket is shot or the nuts loosened up. that should fix the backfiring
