I was riding across a small retention pond a couple of feet deep ( which I'd done at least a dozen times ) and I hit a deep hole and sunk. I had water coming in the tail pipe it was so deep. Luckily my 6 year old was smart enough to follow directions and I sent him back to the truck to get a strap. He backed his raptor 90 close enough that he could toss me the strap which I hooked to the back of my blaster and I could jump from my blaster to the back of his raptor holding the strap . We pulled my blaster out, and he towed me back to the truck. We loaded up, went home and I drained the tranny, pulled the spark plug and stood the blaster up on the grab bar and drained all the water out. I used the kick starter to get all the water out of the cylinder. I ran some oil thru the tranny and put the plug back in, filled it up with some oil, started it and let it idle for a few seconds, drained the fluid again and filled it up with some fresh bel ray and she was good to go. I didn't even get my feet wet ! BTW we went back and rode for almost 4 more hours.
