ok so my blaster has an air leak in the motor somewhere. i have already replaced the top end gaskets, and the stator side crank seal. is there any other seals in the motor that can cause an air leak?
i can leak between ur cases, crank seals, reed gaskets, base gasket, head gasket, shift rod or fork w/e its called seal theres alot of places.do a leak down test
i have already replaced the head gasket, base gasket, reed gasket, and stator side crank seal. i thought those were the only ones that could cause air leaks
i had an airleak on mine that i couldnt find. did a leakdown test and found the gasket between the reed cage and intake manifold leaking. i have vforce 3, so i tried new gaskets still same thing. so i replaced gasket again only this time put a very thin coat of rtv on both sides of gasket and thats all it needed no more leak.
pick up a cheap leak down kit or better yet borrow one if you don't have a practical need for one, they sure take the guess work out and they're a lot cheaper than leaned out fried motor
