Take your carb off and get a plug with a threaded hole in it to fit in your intake boot and clamp it down. Then youll need a T, tire valve, and a pressure guage, and 2 fittings. one that fits the hole in your intake plug and one that fits the T. Then you assemble it like this: plug the intake boot put a fitting with a hose to the T, then you put the pressure guage on the T and the air valve on the T also. Find a piece of rubber (olod tube) for a gasket to put on your exhaust port. Then get a peice of metal cut it to go over your exhaust port as well and punch two holes in it to match your exhaust studs, then put your manifold on top of the metal peice and tighten it down. Now your exhaust port should be sealed as well. Then take a hand air pump and pressurize your motor to 5psi. Wait 30 min. Check your pressure guage and see if it is still at 5. If so you have no air leak. If not, pressurize again and get yourself a squirt bottle and fill it with water and soap. Squirt down your whole motor and watch for bubble. When you see bubbles that is were your leak is. Hope you can understand this and Hope this helps.
