Sewage Drain
Ok, I just had the strangest thought. Its if I leave my air box cover off, and drive it through water and get water in the box, would I have to worry about getting water in the engine? Because I know my filter's oiled up, so wouldn't the water just bounce off the filter and just sit it the bottom of the air box? So to sum it up, I wouldnt have to worry about getting water in my engine because the oil will just bounce off the oil and not get in the filter. Is this correct?

well you could always unplug the bottom of your air box. it has a little cover over a hold in the bottom of the air box above the swingarm, you unplug it and water drains out if there's any in it. and i would think the oil would help prevent it but i don't think it would be a 100 percent thing like i don't think it would keep ALL the water out.

yea i know about the drain, it would be the best to take it off, maybe put some sort of a mesh/screen type cover over it so water can get through when it fills up put still keep mud and crap from getting inside when i ride in deep ass mud....

you should be fine for your average trail. Your seat pan only clears the top of the airbox by an inch or two so it acts as a lid as well
