Advice on jets

I just got a box of goodies yay! Well now I'll be running a FMF Fatty and silencer, Vforce3 reeds, and a uni air filter. OK should I run with the lid off? Also should I probably run alike a 290 main?

i went down honda all out of 290 jets they had a 300 so I grabbed it think it will be a bit rich?

Not sure where you live but if its cold a 300 wont hurt anything, plug chop to see if too rich as it will affect performance.

I always run one size richer on the main, the peace of mind I get knowing I am safe, far outweighs the performance I loose.

Got it together ran 300 in it gotta do a plug chop but extremely happy smooth crisp throttle. Think I might have a air leak while it was idling it started to idle fast. Might be because the boot with the VF3 reeds had to be trimmed might add some sealer to fix it.

Make sure that air leak is fixed pronto, as a death may occur.

Play it safe and do a leak down test.
