Advantage of 450 ex shock?

i am new to this forum and four wheelers all around and i see everyone talking about this 400ex shock and i was just wondering what is the advantage of this shock?

well i dont have one but i know that the 400ex shock rides alot more smoother than that stock blaster shock

yes it is , i have one and its supreme over the stock rear shock, just a little mods and ur good to go

well what do you do about the airbox thing? since it looks like you have to cuz a hole in it.

the ressi hits the airbox a tiny bit, but i didnt have to cut it or anything!

so you dont have to cut the airbox then? is it safe with it rubbing on it? and how much bigger do you have to make the holes on the bottom part of it?
