Hey guys I tried to search and I figured I could find a sticky or something about this but I need to know a couple of things about the blaster carb.
I bought the blaster with a bad piston and decided to just go ahead and do the big bore kit since Im a big boy anyway. I got it all on and the compression is great. It will start with a half kick even cold. Only problems I am having are these:
1. Cannot figure out how to set the idle
2. Kick start stays down and wont return on its own.
I put in the new jets and needle and like I said it starts very easily (better than I thought a 2 stroke could) I just need to figure out this idle. I messed with the screw on the TORS box on top of the carb but it doesnt do anything when its twisted in small amounts or even large ones. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

there is an idle screw under the seat on top of the carb...bout the size of a coin...turn it to the left and it increases the speed and to the left decreases it.

and it sounds like you need a new spring on the kick starter...nuthin big...

yeah you need a new new spring for the kickstarter, youre going to run a stock carb with the bb kit? you need to sell the old one and buy at least a 34mm carb, that stock carb is going to restrict you so much power for the bb kit, so before even wasting time trying to tune it get a new carb.

Point taken I will look order a new PJ when I order my exhaust stuff!! I guess I can do away with the TORS then right?
