Adjuster Bolts

So, I guess those are a good thing to have?? Been trying to get the chain to tighten up correctly but it keeps loosening up. I'm thinking that if those bolts were there, it would prevent the carrier from loosening up while riding?? I think that's what's happening, but just wanted to make sure. The bolts vibrated out and have been long gone for a while....which may be why I always have to adjust the carrier!!

Anyone know the thread size on those bolts??

They are about 8mm, but not positive. Here's a link to new ones tho, they are cheap enough (hell shipping prob costs more)

So they're 8-1.25 bolts, looks like 55mm long. Yeah, I guess that's why the chain is always loosening up!! I thought that they were just to guide you with the tightening....I use a big crow bar on the carrier!

FYI, I figured out the size if anyone needs to know!!

The stock part is 8mm-1.25 pitch metric hex bolt 55mm long. I was able to get some that were 50mm long at lowes and they do just fine.

Yip thats what I did too! buy the time i have no adjustment left I'd be replacing the chain anyhow.
