a quick fly by vid after some home porting

i forgot to mention that i also smoothed the transfer ports a little bit. and i widened the intake port by cutting out a little of the middle, and cut quite a bit of metal off the center section. i didnt raise or lower the intake though. i figured if it helps then good, but if it hurts at all i have kinda been thinking about going with a 240 kit sometime soon anyways...

pfffft what a ripoff, i wanted to see you fly by, and you stayed on the ground the whole time and to top it all off........you wrent even wearing your wings

i want my money back

she sounds good man. so why aren't you givin ken the props he deserves for showing you how to do the port work you did. and where the hell are the pics of the port work!?

I will give Ken O'conner mad props for the vids on how to port. However, the only one I got to watch was the exhaust video and part of the transfer port video. That's how I came up with raising the timing 1mm and smoothing out the ports. I will probably take the intake and exhaust back off to get pics. I was honestly worrying about getting it back together to the point where I didn't think about taking pics.

some pics of the intake port. i'm really not too happy with the outcome, but i know i'm gonna need a full top end rebuild probably in the spring so i didnt want to do too much work and then screw it up royally. i just had it apart to put new rings in and check to make sure everything was okay and decided to do a little work.

looks shweet man! i been workin on my 240 today porting a bit too. also blended the cases into the transfers a little bit. debating on pics or not. where the pics of transfers?

i had to tear it back down to take those pictures. i didnt wanna take the jug back off to snap a couple pics of the transfer ports. all i did was use a dremel with a sanding bit and take away just enough to where there werent any casting flaws and so the part where they come together was a pretty sharp edge. if i get around to it tomorrow, i will pull the exhaust off and take pics of the exhaust port. i need to anyways since i'm gonna need to leakdown test now when i put the intake back on
