A few parts on the 87 Zilla

Tonight I decided to stop being lazy and install some of my Zilla parts.

First took the beat plastics off

Took off the JUNK 87 stock carb

Pulled The Stock Pipe Off

New AAEN Pipe Installed!

Got The Airstriker In Easily

And....the little UNI filter

Took a complete guess on the initial jetting for the PWK38 A/S with 58 Pilot, 185 Main, Needle 4th clip from top(so almost full rich)

dead cold, first kick it fired and died cuz the idle was set too low

after a few adjustemtns with the idle screw and air screws


overall successful night, tomorrow more testing!

i dont like the layout of the aaen pipe, now it comes out to the left then 180 to the right then up and back out the left.
it remembers me of a DG pipe layout.
 
i say....nuthin like a hand built, individual cone, pipe, forget the layout, hand built cones are proven to be the best !!!!!
looks sick carnz, is that the zilla you got from that "good deals" i posted ????

yes it is!

and shee, i see they changed the design, but i'm sure they did it for a good reason. i don't think they would make it an inferior design just on a whim, i'm sure they knew what they were doing. the sound of the exhaust pulses sounds nothing like a DG or FMF pipe while its running too.

my cameraphone couldnt handle the noise too well sry for the distortion!

messed with it this morning, had to drop down to a 178main. still a little rich it seems, ran really good for a few hours today tearing up the snow and mud.

next weekend i'm gonna really try to get it dialed in nicely
