So I just got an 03' and I have a few issue's. first is the right(passanger) or rear break side foot rest is broken off. One of the holes is flattened out and the other needs to be tapped. So what I need to know for that is the size and thread of the Oem bolts. Second my breaks are holding tight all the way around. I replaced the pads and bled the system front and back. All still hold but with a little less pressure than when I got it. Does anyone know how I could fix this? Do I need all new caliburs? Thank you for your help in advance.

I also got an 03 model recently with a similar problem on the right front brake.
As it turns out my piston is rusted/stuck in there pretty solid and the two allen screw things that hold the pads are also rusted/stuck. Tried with more leverage and they just strip. So at the moment I'm letting them soak in brake fluid over night to see if it will loosen them up. I'm thinking of just getting a new set though as i don't want them to fail while speeding down some wooded road!

Thanks for the bolt size blasterdemon7. I will try the flush. Blastersa the bolts came out fine and the piston moved ok but was worn at an angle. I think I will just replace this one before the flush. Thanks for you input guys.

You can look on ebay for a Banshee and a Warrior one. There the same as the blaster.

What about blocking them off? I don't use them anyway. I prefer to use the rear and have yet to use them.

:o:o:o:(:(:(

You don't use the front brakes, just wait until a tree steps out in front of you, I'll bet eggs are eggs that you will grab for them then.

I very seldom use anything other than the front brakes!

You must ride like a Granny if you can slow or stop with only the back brake.:):)8-|8-|
