Ok first why would the parking break need to be removed and what does it do with it off and why would people flip the front tires what do that do and the airbox lid off will only work if i get a jetting kit is that hard to install im pretty good with motor just never done that before and i just bought new reeds and a new 14t procket my blaster with out that stuff does 82 mph i have a fattyheader and fmf pipe and oil block off and tors gone so can someone answer my ? thanks alot

the parking brake is just another useless pos that isnt needed. flipping the front tires (only with 88-02, or 03+with valve stem mod) gives an extra 2" of width. dont get a jet kit. just get one single jet. to rejet just drop the bowl off the carb and take out the hexagon brass thing and put a a bigger one. i would go one size up with removing the airbox lid. ur blaster DOES NOT do 82 mph!
you can not do 82 mph lol flip your front wheels to make it wider.....take lid off to get more air and more power<---need to rejet
well the parking brake removal will probably get you doin 85 or so and the front wheel flip will have u up in the 90s and u said u didnt even put the reeds on yet soo u should b pushin a good 100 or so when they are installed
the only way a blaster can do 82mph is if it was falling out of the sky. Are you sure you have the stock motor in?
well thanks for the info and hit the 8 instead of the 7 sorry lol but my bike a reeds and the header and pipe oil block off and tors elimanted i used my gps so it may have to been off no need to bash lol but really thanks for all the help i and going to try and flip the tires and get one jet and take the lid off and the new 14t sprocket and newer high performance reeds and will retake the high speed run how fast do most people go with some mods
Oh a couple more ??? how would i go about a vavle stem mod and how do you remove the parking break i want 2 more inch in the front wheels that would be sweet thanks again guys
Doing the wheel flip in the front is all you will get out of the blaster as far as free widening goes... Any wider and you need aftermarket a-arms or a Diamond J widening kit which relocated where your stock a-arms bolt on. Which obvioulsly widens it.. You don't need to do the valve stem mod if you have a 02 and earlier Blaster. If you have a 03+ you have to drill a hole on the other side of you rim and mount the valve stem on the opposite side of the rim.

Yea dude i couldn't pass it up about the 82 mph lol. but mine does on a flat paved road like 62-64 tops but im not heavily modded like some ohter people on here.
what i did was get the short rear cable from motion pro and then cut the cable from the hand brake and take the whole stock cable out and then hook up the short motion pro cable and that is only the foot brake it doesn't go to the hand brake therefore eliminating the parking brake
