A-arm swinarm question

I stated a 06 blaster project and already have a-arms and a swingarm for it but i found a great deal on a 01 blaster thats in good condition. My question is can i use the parts i got for the 06 frame on the 01

yes but why would you want to do that? are they aftermarket?

Ya i have a +4 swingarm on my proect frame and +2 armadillo a-arms

Yea you can use everything from any year blaster on any year blaster. the only thing that changed on the 03-up is that they went to hydro brakes all around so the front spindles are different and the rear carrier is different.

Ok so the 01 carrier wont fit in the 06 swingarm?

no it will fit. not a problem. the swingarms where the same, the carriers were not.

no, the 03+blasters housing is the same as a banshees, just put the swinger and axle on the 01

if the housing from a shee and a 03 blaster are the same, you have to use spacers to put a shee housing into a older swinger so i think there diffrent im almost positive but could be wrong

shee carriers and blaster carriers are different. The difference between the older blaster carriers and the '03 and up carriers is the way the brakes mount up. The older carriers have a plate mount welded on the carriers and the newer ones use two tabs to mount the hydro caliper.
