a-arm swap

i was just curious if there were any other yamaha quads or any other quad for that fact that has longer stock a-arms that will bolt right up to a blaster or only require slight modification like washers between the a-arms or something like that? im in college and cant afford much but i weigh about 235 lbs and need some better suspension and i do some serious jumping and will be continuing to beat the piss out of this quad

have you considered a diamond J widening kit?

try some yfz 450 a arms and shocks i dont know how much work you have to do to make them fit but i've seen them on blasters

see, i was really considering the diamondjay kit but i was looking at yzf 450's and they have longer a-arms and shockhs and i wastinking about using those but no oe has done a write up that i know of, nor have i seen them on any quads

i've seen a blaster on ebay with the arms and shocks and i think they used a kit to reposition the a arm mounts so you could mount the 450 a arms on, i might be wrong but i think its the same widening kit suprex is talkin bout. but if you have seen a paulie b's blaster he has yfz450 shocks and the stance is really nice

then fab the rear mount and stick a rear one on to, that would be real nice

you can get a set of aftermarket a-arms for what you can get a set of 450 shocks for.......

my buddy was pro quad in 450 class and he has all of his spare parts for $250 and if he has the a-arms and shocks i think its a steal!
