Yes, I have. They are shaped like a keyring. Which spirals inward and then ends three loops down from the original loop. See what I am saying? using something to cover the end tip of a flat blad screw driver press up on the bottom of the ring(try no to tear it). Then get something to insulate or protect the top of another screwdriver(get a THIN flat head, but not so thin it will break) and pry about at the point 3mm away from the beginning of the first "keyring loop." Push upward and under the ring and upward on the bottom of the ring and the boot "keyring" will come off, as will the balljoint boot itself. If this is too confusing, it's kinda hard for me to explain I'll make a video.
