I just bought a 97 blaster and the guy said it has just been rebuilt, 0.60 wiseco piston new crank,DG pipe and silencer. oil injection blockoff kit . he said he rode it for about 20 min. and it just died . Bike has compression, i just rebuilt carb new jets ,needle valve ect. the carb is getting fuel but i pulled spark plug out its dry! its also firing (new plug) . This is my very first 4-wheeler.I got this bike very cheep and i heard that they are alot of fun to own. I shure would like to ride mine, its been sitting in gar. for 3 months now<can someone shoot me some ideas! THANKS:

pull the flywheel off and check the key that holds it in place on the crank shaft. this requires a flywheel puller since it's pressed on by the nut. my guess is the key either stuck to the magnet when installing or its been sheered off. (Especially if it backfires when you try to kick it.)

Good luck (get a manual downloaded. a decent free one can be found online)

check your reeds if your plug is dry. Also check for any reasons gas wouldnt be getting through, clogged gas line, gas on off.
