96 blaster shifting problem

i had to split my cases and when it was all back together it wont shift through more then 2 gears. when i take the wheel that has the spring on it against the shift cam the cam turns through all the gears but only two when its on.

spin the input shaft for the trans as you try to shift it. if you're not doing that it won't shift
