55 year old Blaster virgin needs help!!!!!!!

i dont use anything to split the case just a tap tap here and a tap tap there...here a tap there a tap tap tap everywhere...save urself some time and get an impact screwdriver...trust me...DO NOT pry the cases apart or they will be ruined..sit it on the clutch side and wiggle and shimmy and tap and it will come apart. i usually beat the crank out. when i rebuild i spend the extra 160 and put a new stroker in it.
 
I hate to be a pain but how do you get the nut off the clutch side of the crankshaft? Do I need a special holder? Is it left or right handed thread? Thanks
