450shocks to blaster

i want to put some kind of 450 shocks on my blaster but what kind would be the best can-am yfz honda or what i know i will have to widen my a arms but i think i will just cut them in half and then have someone weld pipe over the seams to make it stronger and longer

YFZ 450 shocks are the most common used and if you want a rear shock i put a raptor 700 on my 250 whick is only a 1/4 inch taller than a blasters

just an FYI you cannot lengthen your A-arms like that. if you think about it. there in the shape of a triangle and you cannot make a triangle any larger without changing certain angles

what angles would change? what would it hurt?

By just cutting and lengthening the a-arm you'll end up changing the angle of the balljoints. This could cause them to bind and prematurely fail
