so my buddy has a damaged honda 450r and i wana know if the rear shock will work and maybe the front shocks? i see people put 400ex rear shocks on so thats y i am wondering. any info will help thanks

The rear shock will work well. It goes in using the same bushings needed for the 400ex shock. You do have to cut the front right plastic mounting tab off the frame to run it as the reservoir will hit.

The front shocks are NOT a direct bolt in. You can use long travel a-arms specially designed to use 450R shocks.

The front shocks will work with asr long travel a arms , I had them on my blaster along with the 450r front shocks , you can get a shock relocator kit off eBay that would also make those shocks workable . The 450R top mounts require a spacer . I made them from a couple small pieces of solid aluminum round stock with a hole drilled through the center for the shock mount bolt . If you decide not to run the 450R's , I'll buy them , I need a set for my banshee
