450r shock better than 400ex?

This is for the rear on my blaster. Is a 450r rear shock better than a 400ex shock? Also will it bolt right up? Thanks

iv heard a 450r is softer than the 400 but you will have to have kor bushings

I want a 400 shock but they are higher than 450r rears on eBay.

get the 450 then it is pretty mutch the same shock except the 450 is softer

Then you have to spend more money. Buy works or elka for adjustment....

The rear 450R shock has an offset res and you will have to trim off one body mount on the frame for clearance . You can also use the rear shock from a Z400. To mount any of the shocks, you will need the custom mounting bushing and drill the bottom shock mount out to 12mm. Drill the shock. Not the swing arm.
