so what does it take to beat one or hang with one. my friend has reeds, jet kit, fmf slip on, one tooth taller sprocket still gettin pwned.
a "slip on" on a blaster isnt gonna do anything for the power at all. I have minor mods on my blaster and one of my friends has a 400ex with about 1200$ worth of motor work and i tear him up in drags everytime. Hes got a 416 kit, cams, port and polish, bigger carb, full curtis sparks exhaust, aluminum airbox, rev box, etc. and i still have stock compression on my blaster, very reliable. Hes blown his motor twice in the past 2 years

just to screw with a 400 ex, i would get the 240 port and polish,v force 3 reeds, lrd pipe and slip-on, and an clamp on filter, w/ 1 up front sprocket, and a 35mm carb, 34mm has toomuch hesitation
rocky you must be so bad ass that you dont need a wheely bar for the flakes?, lol, i love the paint on ur blasty, i wish i could see the color change, looks nice
with all my mods i smoke 400s at the drag races, its 100 yards, i usually get 2nd in the 400 class, damn piped banshee beats me by a tire hopefully the rad valve n spacer gives me the extra power i need to beat him

Ok cool what about a blaster and a polaris scrambler 500 ho with full exhaust jetted clutch kit and k&n and a two teeth small front sprocket. lol this is my wheeler its a piece i hate polaris now and i used to own a 89 blaster and loved it. Just throw some opinions out there.

scrambler top speed is 65 stock. with smaller front sprocket it's even slower.
now... a modded scrambler 400 (2 stroke) you are defeated.

well i beat i the blaster bad now. do you think that blaster has some probs? i haven t changed the sprocket yet i got it for more off the line dont really top it out alot. But ill do some research on this site i guess to find out.

u should really shoot for something bigger to beat like a 450r or a banshee. fun thing with blaster's is that stock there not that fast making them fast is the fun part. so i guess it would be the same if u had a 400ex try 2 make it beat faster 4 wheeler's. i seen 2 so far i could beat the stock one till i ran out of gears the other 400 had mods i could not keep up with it. but i can still do more 2 my blaster
