ok i can buy a 400ex rear shock for about $75-$100 in mint condition. i can also buy a works rear shock with a ressivor for $275. is the works worht the extra $200?

i would say the Works rear is much better, but hell if you don't have to spend that much just get a regular 400ex shock. It'll work just fine.

i figure i can into some works shocks for right around $600. but then if im about $100 on a 400ex then im another $50 on kor bushings to have them shipped to canada so for an extra $125 the used works is probably the better way to go

then used works for fronts, and reg 400ex for rear. that my setup at least. when i was searching for shocks, i ran across some REALLY good deals on craigslist and ebay. i found a pair of works for 100 in elcelient condition. buy it now price. so there are some good deals out there!

well no. fox floats would be the best, but no one has money for those lol

Aint the podium x the ones for the rear? And the float evols are the $1500 fronts lol. But the float r's i can get for $620.. thatd be the way to go, but i doubt if theyd work on a blaster.

But OP, i think the 400ex rear would be a good upgrade, most guys with 400s round here
run their stock rear. (With an aftermarket linkage)
