400ex rear shock swap?

hey guy i was just wondering if anyone has done the 400ex swap with the stock blaster shock?.....i heard its a great inexpensive way for a better rear suspension....i only paid $30 for the shock....just a few little mods and i should have it done...j/w if anyone has done it before?
