400ex benefits over 250ex

I am trying to convince my dad to let me sell my 250ex and let me buy a 400ex. I have had the 250ex for about a year. I am starting to get too big for it and I am looking for more power. Please reply with some reasons why the 400 is better than the 250. Or just list some pros and cons.

Uuuhhmmmmm, dad has no clue.

Any one quad has positives. The 400 ex is better than a 450 because it is a little simpler, maybe little more durable, with lack of maintenance. But maintenance is still key to longevity, no matter 2s or 4s.

How old are you? 400 is a good quad, they handle great, lots of aftermarket parts.

Yeah, blaster owners may like to poke fun at 400s but 400s are great all around quads. If I went 4 stroke I'd definitely go with a 400

I am 15. I have rode some of my friends 400's and 450's.

IMO, lack of higher tech is a bonus. DOHC 5 valves are great, but when it goes bad it goes real bad $$$$$
Valve adjustment is simple screw and locknut. Shim in bucket is major PIA.
