400ex adjustment questions.

ok, i installed a 400 shock today and i wonder, what does the top adjusting screw adjust, what about the bottom screw?, i know what the spring adjuster does, just mot shure about the others.

ones i think preload and one is rebound if im right

so preload is top and rebound is bottom, or opposite?

Preload is the adjustment of the spring itself, the two screws are rebound and compression, i'm not sure which is which though.

Compression is the screw on the top and rebound is the screw on the bottom

which way do you turn the bottom one to adjust it so it rebounds faster, twist forward or backward?

I would turn them both all the way out. You will want that as soft as possible.
