4 stroke question

I just cleaned my filter on my 3 wheeler and now its making this shhh shhh shhh sound and then it will die. So far ive oiled the filter cleaned the filter tried it without the filter still makes that sound. what does that sound mean?
Im only asking here because this site gets a lot of traffic and it takes to long to get responses on 3wheelerworld.

Things are progressing slowly there has got to be an air leak or the stupid 3 wheeler prefers a dirty airfilter... Heck I might just go rub some dirt on it and see if It runs right

That shouldent be a problem, clean ur carb and change ur plug.

sounds like u possibly adjusted your air screw to lean... richen it up a little and see if it makes a diff. maybe it was loose and just rubbing it made it worse...
