i know it raises your cc's, and adds power but how exactly? does it raise compression? i know with a +4 you have to trench the cases but how hard is this? and what is a good +4 to go with??

Thats a good question. I would also like to know how much it helps, also I would like to know how easy it is to install?
I have the +4 in mine you would be better off to send the cases off to get the trenched you also have to get 2mm cut off of the head to allow the piston to go in it. I have the hot rods +4 crank and i sent it off to Wildcard to have it trued and welded up
Would flo tec be able to set me up for the +4 crank shaft because I allready plan on sending my 240 jug to him? Did you notice any big diffrence from the +4 crank?
an extra millimeter of stroke the 4 mill offers over a 3mill probably wont be felt by the average guy,but every bit helps in the end ..i have built and assembled them about anyway there is ,trenched ..not trenched ,cut head, custom gaskets and or spacer plates
yeah so the 4mil isnt something i could do myself? if i go with the vetos 3mm do i have to shave the head or what? so the stroked crank is actually longer than stock so why shave the head isnt that backwords?
well technically you need to shave a blaster head because it isn't designed from the factory for performance, with that being said a Vito's crank comes with a spacer plate that takes up the 1.5 mm that the new crank raises the piston so you get it and use the plate and gaskets and away you go, now all the technical jargin will happen about squish and port timing
Either way when you stroke your blaster 3 mil, or 4 mil you need to do some work. +3 requires filing the cases and in the best case porting to match and taking metal from the head rather than using the provided spacer plates. The 4 mil requires trenching and metal taken from the head also but I would rather the 3 for reliability.
so whats a good 3mm stroker? i want it to last and is there any write ups on installing a stroker as far as the spacers and porting that needs to be done and why? im just trying to understand how they work

The bearings should not be the issue if you know how to jet it correctly. The issues that I've had with the Vito is that they grind off the bottom of the rod and that is where we've seen the failures, on the rod.

weather you accept tha taiwan is owned ran and governed by china and is actualy considered the ROC(republic of china) doesnt really matter i n this case becuase the fact remains neither crank is amercian made ,both cranks will work fine though ...in my own experiances* ,ive seen more issues with the hotrods than i have with the vitos coming apart or failing
