33mm clearence too small

hey sup guys i gotta slight problum.i bought a 33mm carb with a 33-35 mm intake manifold with a k&n filter and outer wear.. the problum is the bowl of carb is hitting the cluch flange on engine and the filter wont fit cause it hits the frame . carb angled angled up. i know the manifold is on right i just dont know why theres no clearence.. do i need a velocity tube or something. 4 inch filter btw thanks

if your talking about a clamp on filter yes we use about a 4" long tube that seems to be working best

what about the bowl of the carb hitting the clutch tab on the motor. do i need reed spacers for that what .its hitting the tab, i have to tilt it . and where do i get the velocity tube thanks.

a reed spacer would fix the clearance issue with the bowl

i just tilt the carb a tad like you said, works for me and i run a 33mm. you can run any kind of aluminum tubing thats 2-1/4" in dia
