Are you guys that are running 30mm carbs getting it into the stock boot from the airbox. It fits into the intake manifold fine. Also it has a 145 main in it now... would that be a decent starting point for my mods?
I put a blow dryer on it for a bit until it was soft and it went right on for me. I'm no tuning expert yet, but I think 145 would be a good starting point but does sound like a rich starting point. I have porting and stroker crank on mine gonna start with 150 and 42.5 pilot. And do some chops to see what's up.
Thats what I have to do on my 30 OKO,I try'ed to stretch it but did not work for me.I got it on one time.When I took it off,it would not fit back on with out reheating it.
to get my 28mm on it took me a long time of fighting it and finally got it on. I can only imaging how much of a pain a 30 would be without a dremel tool
