When I got my blaster I thought I could learn how to wheelie on it. But now I want a 4 stroke and I can't seem to sell my blaster. My blaster broke on me three times over the summer, and I'm getting tired of it breaking. My friend's honda 250x quad has a little bit of motor work and his quad wheelies extremely easy. Basically I would like to know if a 300ex motor will fit into a blaster.

while i dont know if it wil work or not, i still want to slap you for even suggesting this swap. in fact you should slap yourself in the face

if you want to wheelie on your blaster get a 14 tooth front sprocket and lean backwards

I know you can wheelie on a blaster I can wheelie on a blaster. I just can't hold it for very long and I am getting tired of popping the clutch.

The 300ex is so similar in size there really is no point in swapping that motor into a blaster chassis.

I can't imagine how anyone couldn't wheelie a blaster!! Use the powerband!!! Just accelerate fast on something that you get good traction on. Don't stand on the grab bar.

My clutch slips REALLY bad so obviously it needs to be replaced but I can still wheelie my Blaster. Especially on the grab bar. You dont need to reach the brake if you learn throttle control.

well i have noticed and i think ive herd other ppl say it hondas are extreamly easy to wheelie on so puten a 4 stroke moter on a 2 stroke bike is guna do nothen but make stuff break more and plus it will be slower

jus take the blaster plastics and put them on the honda...that way you have a blaster lookin honda and dont need ta swap the motor and worry bout anything

fix thje quad correctly maintain it correctly and get more experiance under your belt and some size ot you ,you probabaly dont weigh anything and cant get the weight bias up easy in the front plus its hard to man handle it around at 11 years old

Dude your 11. the only thing I could wheelie when I was 11 was a kx80. If you try realy hard, you can wheelie anything, the blaster has good torque and a revy powerband. if your a small guy thats ok (I am) learn to use the powerband as a friend use hard surfaces and
aggressive tires for wheelies. But most importantly ride every day, practice! and have fun, dont push yourself you will hurt yourself and get nowhere

it takes a while to get used to the sweet spot. it's back farther than you think. go back till you feel like ur going to flip over, then go a little farther. dont worry about flipping tho, as long as you have a grab bar and your not going up a hill, it won't flip over. it will just ride on the back tires and grab bar. to put it back down, just hit the rear brakes.

i don't ever put my foot on the grab bar to do wheelies. just learn to use the throttle and back brake to keep it at the right spot.

Thanks guys for the tips on wheelies. But all I wanted to know was if a 300ex motor will fit into my blaster. Because I really want a 4 stroke quad but I can't sell my blaster. So if anyone wants a nice rippin blaster let me know. It has a ton of aftermarket parts on it e-mail me for pics.

Any motor will fit with some work. I've seen a CBR600 streetbike motor in one. Some crazy guy has a YZ400 in one.
Will it bolt up NO.
Theres nothing wrong with you bein 11 just you might want to either buy a 300ex or learn to ride your Blaster.
