Just bought a Vito's 3mm stroker kit and have read that it needs porting to get more from the stroker kit. Does anyone know the specifics on this? I'm also getting the cylinder bored over (also wondering on carb setup to run on it) please help!

you can run a 1.5mm total spacer/2 base gaskets to adjust the cylinder/ports to the added 1.5 mm each way stroke.
Vito's and Cometic offer the spacer plate needed, IIRC ?

or have the cylider ported for the added stroke and run a single OEM/Cometic base gasket

porting being the preferred, better option and will unleash the beast :)

most run the keihin 34mm pj or 35mm pwk carbs with 240 kits.
you'll also need a new 34/35mm intake, and adapt your airbox boot to the new larger size carb, or an aftermarket CFM airbox/silicon boot

It came with a spacer for the jug but I'm looking for any specific porting that can be done to improve power with the kit and I'm doing it myself. I've ported my other bikes (cr500/cr250) but have not dealt with a stroker crank before . This blaster if for my friends to ride I enjoy my dbikes

And will I be able to run the stock carb? If so do i need to change jets or needle position ?

A stock carb will not be a good choice with a bb kit. At least a 30mm is needed and a 34-35 is ideal with proper porting, pipe, carb, air box etc. Onto porting, if you are doing it then you should know all about how to port it properly. No one is going to just give numbers away. Like every builder you should already know the mathematics to produce a proper port that is a runner. Specific porting??? Fine, drag, trail,mx. You choose the style you want.

I'm no pro porter but I'm learning the science so I'm just asking more skilled porter for advice that's all

Will I be able to run the stock carb for now if I get bigger jets? I'll be getting a new carb in two weeks or so
