25 psi of compression!!! Now what

if u look at the crank rod and look down into the lower case u will see a little slit on the front and back side of the crank rod you look down threw these slits u will see needle pins showing in the middle of these slits and just look for broken ones. then if u look at them and very lightly push the kick starter buy hand it will slowly move the crank so that way u can look at all of them. should spin smooth too and when crank rod is siting wobole it right to left should be fairly thight this way if wobole with lot of play then prob. bad

Yes you can check crank play. Just hold the connecting rod and try to wiggle it up and down. If there is alot of straight up and down play in the lower rod bearing is bad. Side to side play is ok. As for needle bearings it is just a type of bearing.

The bearing ring you removed from the bottom of the piston(wrist pin bearing) is a needle bearing.
