i was thinking about getting the fire breather but its alot of money and i would like a run down first. If any one has one or has any info on them it would help alot.

I have the 200cc in the for sale section if your interested. But, to answer your question (assuming the 240 is made the same) Your getting probably the nicest cylinder made for a blaster. It is a completely new casting not just a yammy cylinder with a sleeve. In fact the Airsal jug does not even use a sleeve. It is a chrome lined cylinder. The triple exhaust ports are the biggest I've ever seen. Same with the transfer ports and the aux ports. They are big enough that I dont think it would be possible to match it with a stock jug, because the outside of the jug is even cast bigger than stock. Just remember that the Fire breather requires 110 octane and that can get $$$

well they have alot of exhuast area which can be good but sometimes bigger isnt always better becuase you will lose a good deal of velocity this way.i have no doubt if setup right they will run better than a stocker likely could . a 2 stroke is bascily like a pump ,you want to get it in and out as fast as possible for best efficiancy .another concern is the placement of the sub exhuast ports, the whole idea is to gain chordial width, area, and still have ring support and the lasleeve sonic does this in a better design in my opinion

ok i believe flotek was talking about overall hp, and an engine that makes more horses isnt going to have as much lowend. which is needed for mx. From a drag racers perspective the la sleeve/ ct jug is superior to all other blaster jugs by a few hp.
