240 big bore or port job

they do get a little warm.. BUT if you shave your front fenders (especially the backs where the wind catches the back of the fender), and put airscoops on, you're nearly back down to just how the stock motor with few mods overheats... they aren't really that bad.. i mean f*ck.. im running a trinity 280 kit in my one blaster and i have drag porting and a few other internal mods.. with race cut fenders and airscoops it really doesn't overheat that much

(***NOTE*** LOWER OCTANE GAS MAKES YOU OVERHEAT MORE, AND GAS WITH TOO HIGH OF AN OCTANE WILL DECREASE PERFORMANCE*** ***)

if you block off your oil run the proper jetting and air ratio and good premix oil you will not overheat ,dont be overly concerned about that ,the la sleeve sonic kit is really slick and will be a huge gain in itself ,but of coarse proper porting is going ot make the biggest power gain regardless of the bore and stroke ,mod for mod a ported 200 will outrun a nonported 240 topend everytime

i cant imagine how fast my vitos 240 kit would be WITH porting. like wtf lol

No man, I was referring to the fact that a ported 200 with a good drag pipe and a 33 mm carb will easily outrun a ported 240 with stock carb and FMF pipe...

Nothing funny about it.

EDIT: Nevermind; that leapord skin seat cover should add mad power like wtf lol bbq xxx sob ttyl bff

i agree with 89custom...how is a blaster that is just port and polished gonna beat out a blaster w/ a 240 kit AND a port and polish.

Stock carb + FMF pipe = Not great

33mm carb + drag pipe= Great, like better than 40cc's great

Get it :)

I've seen a 350cc Banshee that was set up properly run a 3.85 in 300'.
I've also seen 500+cc Banshees run 3.87-3.90's.
It's all about how you set em up. FMF pipe for all out performance on 240cc engine FTL

lol are u still talkin? shut up you dumb biotch. how can a 200 ported with a pipe and a 33mm carb beat a 240 ported with a 36 flatslide and a fmf? your so dumb, quit talkin b4 u get ur head so deep in bullshit you suffocate.

That carb is still on your dream list son.

36mm carb on unported 240 haha.

And what you think 40cc's is gonna do anyway?

You don't even know what the hell you're talking about.

you got quite the big list. and dream list? i have the parts... im in the middle of painting her and when shes back together she will have the 240 kit, 36mm carb, f7 aluminum airbox and the 38 rear. wana f*cking dance? you acualy think your sh*tbox is better? forget better you prolly cant ride for sh*t anyway.

Ok you little bastard.

My comment was;

Ported 200 with 33mm carb and drag pipe would be faster than
Ported 240 with stock carb and FMF pipe.

That's all. You add a big carb to the 240 it may even things out. But you need a better pipe. Seriously. Just trying to help.

And yes, I think my "sh*tbox" Banshee may stand a chance against your unported 240cc engine. Just my opinion, though/:">
