So we're trying to get my friends' old race bike running so he can take up some races bets with us (including against my blaster) and sell it, the 2004 YZ 85, but right now, the clutch is gone on it, we know it needs to be replaced, but shouldn't the bike at least start in neutral? It doesn't want to do anything, it has 75-85psi of compression (don't know if thats good or not) strong spark, fresh gas, even some quick start, and it doesn't want to play ball.
any suggestions? It was seized before, but it was resolved with a new piston and ran and raced since, don't know if that still has any effect now.
