I was wondering the easiest way to replace the front brake pads. I have the tires off and the two bolts to pull the caliber and pads out, but the disc gaurd on the inside of the tire wont let it come out, and to take the gaurd off the bolts to that hit the disc. Should I just tke the hub nut out and try to pull the hub. Thanks for the help.

Yes you need to take the cotter pin and spindle nut off, then slide the hub off a bit and the caliper will come right off if the two bolts are out. Then you need to remove the two allen head brake pins and you will be ready to change pads.Good luck

might as well grease them bearings while you have the hub off

you can also just move the guard over with your finger as your pulling the caliper off. That way you don't need to remove the hub
