2002 yamah blaster no spark

I have a 2002 blaster that has no spark. i put a new stator and regulator and i have no spark. what else could be the problem?

Earth cable on ignition coil. ignition coil in spec? spark plug lead good? replace spark plug? Turn key on. Check kill button is working properly.

there is a brand new plug in it the coil is in spec and i hot wired the turn key because i bought it without the key do i need the key to start it?

undo any of the wires you touched for the key
you dont need key to start it
just unhook the wires and leave them.
and if it was a $30 dollar brand new stator then it wont work
could still be your problem get a used know working oem stator ect..
