2002 blaster not starting

in north NJ,Farny state park near green pond. in south NJ i ride in the pine barrens. recently i did a ride from woodbine nj up to the edge of West Freehold, NJ. it was a 6 1/2 hour ride.
nice...yea I go to the pine barrens too... here is a pic I took last year http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff473/mac2mac2/08292010119.jpg ... I didn't know about the other spots , do alot of people go to the one in north jersey.

ok i picked up new reeds, and it will only start with the throttle off the tors switch? but its holding compression now so thats good!!

took it for a ride. she runs good.
but now i have the choke as the idler screw?
it only starts when the choke is in, but it idles high.
but when riding it it feels like theres more power.
but when i pule the choke out haff way it idles fine,
so i just have a little clamp on it so it dosent move.
when its just sitting

IT DYED AGAIN
it was running good then i got off and the rpm's went high so i shut it down and now it will not start?

my blaster did the exact same thing, i checked my compression and it was 50 lol and 2 out of my 4 reeds were BROKEN OFF! lmao. in your case ide try letting it cool and trying to start it again. also, did you fully remove the tors? i only removed half of it before and it gave me tons of problems. the one yellow wire off the cdi needs to be connected to ground, that was my problem. good luck! also, im in south jersey, you know any good riding spots here? my favorite just got shut down =(

No man you got a pre 03 just unplug the brain. Switch at the throttle. And switch at the carb and ur fine. Adjust the idle with the big screw on top of the carb under the seat.
i unplugged the brain and fixed the idle. she runs good now. and it feels like it has more power.
i just got back from riding and went to fix the idle screw on the tors and it snapped
is there any easy way to fix it? :-/

K I guess some parts of it then.I know I've been on a lot of those fire roads back there...How is the bike running?
the bikes running good just need to take apart the tors and replace the screw used to fix the idle
no there are not that many places to ride in nj. around me there are like 2 nice big places with jumps. and like 3 small trails back in the woods.
