2001 Blaster

I have a 2001 Yamaha Blaster that is pretty much all stock it has nothing done to the motor and I am wanting to get some more speed out of it, what would you all recomend?

a nice port job pipe and jet it. second i would put different tires on it something like 18s im a bike believer in changing to smaller tires.

the first thing should be pipes i wouldnt worry about the port or anything then i would do the jets and air filter

I have just ordered a FMF power core 2 silencer but i didnt order a head pipe, and also a K & N air filter

i would get the head pipe with it i wouldnt worry about the filter yet

I already ordered the filter also, but do you have a recomindation for a head pipe to get?

well if you get the fmf can then i would get a fmf gold series but you could also get i belive a pro circut or a pro circut can and fmf pipe i forget which way but i know its a good combo

id say if ur lookin for more speed, then somewhere between pipe and port id try out some gearing, like puttin a 14t up front. especially if your going for smaller tires..
